At Star Automation, Inc. we are committed to creating lasting, positive relationships with our clients, our team members, and our communities. Thus, we are closely monitoring COVID-19 and following guidance and recommendations from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with the directions of state and local leadership.
While this situation is dynamic, we do not anticipate any service disruptions. In an effort to follow the direction of the CDC, we have encouraged our service team to provide expert technical support to our customers via phone or e-mail to reduce face-to-face contact. However, if an emergency exists in which we are unable to rectify the problem over the phone, then our service member will discuss the situation with our customer and decide if there is safe way to rectify the situation at the facility.
As of Thursday March 19th we do not anticipate any shortages of inventory or delays in shipping products to our customers. We continue to work closely with our vendors to ensure we have a robust supply chain and continue to maintain a large in house inventory so we can serve our customers parts needs on a daily basis. We have also increased our sanitation measures and are communicating CDC guidelines to our employees to maintain a healthy workforce.
