Many Shibaura presses connect through standardized 32-pin and 50-pin robot-to-press interfaces. Older Toshiba systems can often use direct terminal strip wiring. Star Automation also provides compatibility guidance, employee training, maintenance and repair assistance.

Servo Robots for Shibaura Injection Molding Systems

Servo robots remove completed molded parts from Shibaura presses and place them in a controlled location for further processing. Sprue Pickers for Shibaura IMMs

XQ-V Series sprue pickers remove excess plastic from Shibaura injection molding machines after each cycle. Their compact swing-style design helps clear runners from the mold area without occupying substantial floor space. Three available models cover machines from 30 to 350 tons. Stored mold programs simplify repeat setups and help operators move between established jobs more efficiently.

Conveyor Belt Systems for Shibaura IMMs

Conveyor belt systems reduce manual transport between Shibaura presses and downstream production areas. Molded components can move directly toward cooling, inspection, assembly, sorting or packaging. Choose between two conveyor lengths and multiple belt widths based on part dimensions and available space. Adjustable height, tilt, variable-speed operation and indexing controls help fit each conveyor into the production cell.
